A new year, a new month, and a new chance to link up with Farley for Currently! I just love these little snapshots of life. :)
Pretty self explanatory so I won't bore you with details! Just a special request for prayers for my mom who is having knee replacement surgery next Thursday that the surgery brings her relief for the pain she's been enduring. Thank you!!
As we begin a new year and start work on those resolutions, I wanted to share this funny thought that I found on Alison at Rockin' and Lovin' Learnin's blog this morning. It made me laugh!
So that settles it...no need for resolutions because you are ALREADY awesome!
Wishing you all the best in 2014!
I wish it was snowing here...we were supposed to get slammed by a storm tomorrow, but not it sounds like it is going to miss us.
ReplyDeleteI'll be thinking and praying for your mom's surgery!

Snow is so awesome! We don't get it often in Georgia, so I always think it would be fun to get at least once a year. I also LOVE that you aren't doing resolutions. Smart girl!
ReplyDeleteThe snow is coming our way this afternoon. You can have it :) I am so over it.
ReplyDeleteI miss snow! I know it's a pain when you have to shovel it and everything-I used to live out in the Northeast and now am in Texas-haven't seen snow in forever! :) Wishing your mom good luck with her surgery.

I live in SE WI also and the snow falling right now is just gorgeous. We have had the most beautiful white Christmas this year. Hope your mom's surgery goes well.
ReplyDeleteYou make me so jealous mentioning that snowflakes are falling. How nice is that! I woke up this morning to fog {that's the most wintery weather I can hope for right now in CA}. It's been sunny and in the 70s and 80s for past few weeks. I know, boo hoo for Californians, but I've always wanted to live where it snowed. You have to go to the mtns. here if you want snow.
ReplyDeleteI'll just bask in the foggy morning until it burns off. LOL!
Happy New Year, Jennifer!

My sister is having the same surgery the same day as your mom. I'll be thinking of you and your mom while we are waiting through my sister's procedure.

ReplyDeleteI love the romantic idea of snow, but I am afraid that I would not love the reality of it. Nothing but beautiful blue skies out here - typical Rose Parade morning. Thank you for being my blogging referee!
ReplyDeleteGreat e-card! I'm thinking of your mom. I hope she lives close by so you will be less worried too... Enjoy the rest of your week. :)

Love your {non}resolution! I think I’ll adopt that one this year, too!
