Peek at My Week {12-01-13} & a WINNER!

WOW!  Where did the last four days go?  On Wednesday night, it seemed like I had all the time in the world to get everything done that I was hoping to finish and now it is Sunday and time is quickly running out...Can you feel my pain???  :)

It's time to look ahead to what's coming up this week with my weekly linky, A Peek at My Week.  If this is your first time here, WELCOME!!  Please take a look around and link up below.  If you are an old friend who joins me on a regular basis, I'm glad you are here!
This week is going to be a busy week and I'm excited to get to it!  We only have three weeks left until our Winter Break and I have lots planned.  (It helps time go faster, you know?)

In Writing this week, we will continue to work on informational writing.  I have updated my Choice Board with new writing topics for this year.  The 4th graders will choose three different projects to complete before the end of the quarter in January.  New to this year's board is the "Free Choice" box where students can propose a writing project of their own choosing and discuss their ideas with me before beginning.  Last year, my students LOVED the Choice Board and I loved how easy they made managing 22 different writers.  If you would like a copy, you can pick it up for FREE from my TpT Store!

Speaking of my TpT Store, did you hear there is a big SALE going on over there on Monday and Tuesday?  My whole store will be on sale too and I already have my cart loaded with some goodies that I love!
I'd like to announce the winner of my new Reading Genre Challenge Tags is Jarlene B.  Congratulations and check your email, Jarlene!
